Pastor Steve Holder - Pastor

Pastor Steve Holder has been serving as pastor of Bethel Church for over 10 years. But his ties to Bethel Church and the Wayne County area go much deeper. Pastor Steve’s father (Founding Pastor C.R. Holder) founded Bethel Church over 39 years ago when Pastor Steve was only 3 years old. So he has seen this church grow from it’s infancy to the great ministry that it has become today.

Pastor Steve is a graduate of Charles B. Aycock High School. He had planned to pursue a degree in accounting before he felt the call to become a minister of the gospel, so he pursued a degree at Heritage Bible College in Dunn, NC. While in college, Pastor Steve met and married the love his life, Sharon. They now have three sons, Rich, Blake, and Matthew.

Under the leadership of Pastor Steve, Bethel Church has increased it’s outreach (missions) and in-reach (ministry to the local body). Pastor Steve also serves as the Vice-President of South East Region of The Fellowship.
